Ms. Yufeng Chen is a PhD candidate of Anthropology at Minzu University of China. She focuses on multiple cultures of Chinese Muslims, female imams and women’s mosques in China. Now she is acting as a PhD visiting researcher of Fulbright under the supervision of professor Yvonne Haddad to conduct dissertation program, at Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding of Georgetown University for ten months (from August 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015). The topic is about Americans Converting to Islam.
For her education background, she earned her Bachelor degree of Administration at the University of Jinan (2009), and obtained Master’s degree in Ethnic Theories and Policies at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (2012).
