Nena Beecham
Senior Research Fellow
Nenaย Beechamย is a Senior Research Fellow at The Bridge Initiative. She received her Bachelor's degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she studied Culture and Politics. She previously worked for The Bridge Initiative as a Multimedia and Research Intern. Her research interests include critical race theory, cultural studies, and Islam in the Americas. She was previously a Doyle Fellow with the Berkleyย Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs, where she conducted research on interfaith and intercultural dialogue. She is also a former Deeply Rooted Emerging Leader (DREL) Fellow with the Muslim Wellness Foundation. She is the co-author of a forthcoming book on Black Muslim fashion and cultural archives.
