Dr. Skender Bruçaj has been a professor at University College Beder in Albania since 2011. He served as chairman of the Albanian Muslim Community from 2014 until 2019. Mr. Bruçaj has a PhD on Quality Management in Higher Education from European University of Tirana and he is part of KAICIID international Fellows Program which brings together religious leaders, scholars and activists from different religions in order to cooperate, exchange ideas and expertise on interreligious dialogue, coexistence and pluralism. Mr. Bruçaj participated in trainings, meetings and conferences during the preparation for the European Union (EU) Global Exchange on Religion in Society.
Dr. Bruçaj has been teaching courses on Social Psychology, Religious Leadership, Psychology of Religion and Religious Education. The focus of his research is quality in education, spirituality in education and religious leadership. He is a member of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League and a member of the Muslim Jews Leadership Council. Dr. Bruçaj is fluent in English, Turkish, Italian and Albanian is his native language.
