Visiting Researcher

Salih Sayilgan headshot, Visiting ResearcherSalih Sayilgan is currently a Visiting Researcher at the Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He holds an MA from the University of Alberta in Religious Studies and a Ph.D. in Religion and Culture from the Catholic University of America. Since 2012, he has been teaching courses on Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations in the DC area schools including Georgetown University, The Catholic University of America, and Wesley Theological Seminary. As part of his research at ACMCU, Sayilgan is working on an article concerning the Qur’an in the literature of Muslim slaves brought to the United States.
