Dr. Farhan Mujahid Chak is the Secretary-General of the Canadian based NGO Kashmir Civitas. Also, he is an Associate Professor of Political Science and International Affairs working as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, Washington D.C. He has worked at the United Nations, the Canadian Parliament, TRT World and Qatar University. His research interest includes Islam and Politics, Political Theory, Secularism, Peace & Conflict Studies, Post-Colonialism, Epistemology and Leadership. He is a regular opinion writer for Aljazeera, Middle East Eye, Daily Sabah and TRT World. His first book was called Islam and Pakistan's Political Culture and was published by Routledge in October 2015. Currently, he will be releasing his forthcoming book Nuclear Flashpoint: The War Over Kashmir in Fall 2023.
