Ezzeldin is an MA candidate in the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University (CCAS). His thesis tackles the relation between modernity, rule of law and justice in colonial and postcolonial Egypt.

Holmes received her Bachelors of Art in Art History from the University of California at Davis, and is now studying Muslim-Christian relations and Islamic history in the MA in Liberal Studies at Georgetown University.
